Cancer rehabilitation is therapy to educate, support and empower cancer patients to achieve optimal function and quality of life from the point of diagnosis, during treatment and throughout recovery. While cancer and its treatment may cause debilitating side effects, research has shown that physical therapy during and after treatment can help speed functional recovery, reduce pain and fatigue as well as lower the risk of complications. It also helps patients and caregivers regain a sense of hope and independence.

The staff here, I just can’t say enough about them. They have made a stressful situation a lot more pleasant. I’m encouraged that they have the new technology and that I’m getting to be a participant in that.

James Miller, Covenant Health Cancer Survivor

I really have always been a fighter, and with everyone being so compassionate in handling me the way they did, they made it easy to have a positive attitude.
