Robert Boos
Senior Vice President of Revenue Cycle, Covenant Health
Robert Boos has served as the senior vice president of revenue cycle for Covenant Health since March 2026. His responsibilities include overseeing patient accounting, revenue cycle integrity and patient registration.
Boos has more than 30 years of revenue cycle leadership experience. Prior to joining Covenant Health, he served as chief revenue officer and vice president of revenue cycle at Centra Health in Lynchburg, Virginia, where he led revenue cycle strategy and performance across multiple hospitals and an employed medical group. During his tenure there, Boos guided payer strategy, Medicare Advantage positioning and denial prevention initiatives, contributing to sustained improvements in cash performance, accounts receivable and denial reduction.
Prior to Centra Health, Boos spent more than 10 years at Community Health Systems in Franklin, Tennessee, where he drove standardization, performance governance and operational discipline across various states. Additionally, he led large-scale shared services operations supporting hospital and physician revenue cycle functions, including the creation of a shared services center.
Boos has spoken nationally on revenue cycle management, denial prevention, patient financial experience, payer denials and coding narratives. Outside of work, Boos serves as a high school football official. He received his associate’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Phoenix.
