Matt Sturm

Senior Vice President of Oncology Services

Matt Sturm serves as senior vice president of oncology services for Covenant Health, providing strategic leadership for Covenant Health Cancer Care across East Tennessee. 

He brings more than 20 years of oncology leadership and advisory experience, including serving as partner and oncology practice leader with ECG Management Consultants. Sturm has worked with many of the nation’s leading cancer programs to advance clinical excellence, expand access to care and support strategic growth. He is an active leader in national oncology organizations and a frequent author and speaker on cancer care delivery and service line strategy. 

Sturm earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and a Master of Business Administration in strategic management from Indiana University Bloomington.
