Ready, Aim, Fire for a Good Cause
Morristown-Hamblen Hospital Foundation presents the Target for Healthcare Trap Shoot, an exciting event benefiting Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. Proceeds from this event allow the foundation to support continuing professional education, program development and medical equipment needs at the hospital. You’ll find great targets, tasty food and support a worthy cause: proceeds benefit the Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.
Trapshooting is a form of clay target shooting with lots of action, movement, and split-second timing. It requires accuracy and skill to repeatedly aim, fire, and hit the 4 1/4 inch clay disc, which is hurled through the air at a speed of 42mph to simulate the flight path of a bird fleeing a hunter. Prizes will be awarded to the Tournament Champion team, as well as the second and third place teams.
