Morristown-Hamblen Hospital Foundation presents the Target for Healthcare Trap Shoot, an exciting event benefiting Covenant Health Morristown-Hamblen. Proceeds from this event allow the foundation to support continuing professional education, program development and medical equipment needs at the hospital. You’ll find great targets, tasty food and support a worthy cause: proceeds benefit the Covenant Health Morristown-Hamblen.

Trapshooting is a form of clay target shooting with lots of action, movement, and split-second timing. It requires accuracy and skill to repeatedly aim, fire, and hit the 4 1/4 inch clay disc, which is hurled through the air at a speed of 42mph to simulate the flight path of a bird fleeing a hunter. Prizes will be awarded to the Tournament Champion team, as well as the second and third place teams.
