FreeAtrial fibrillation is a common heart rhythm problem affecting more than five million Americans and is a leading cause of stroke. In this MED Talk, fellowship-trained cardiologist, Dr. Justin Harrell, will discuss the symptoms and causes of A-fib, the risk factors associated for stroke and treatment options.
About Justin Harrell, DO
Dr. Harrell is board-certified in internal medicine. He earned his medical degree in 2018 from Lincoln Memorial University Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Harrell completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky. He recently finished his cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. His clinical interests include lipid and metabolism management, arrhythmia, noninvasive cardiac imaging, and heart failure.
Dr. Harrell is in practice with Parkway Cardiology Associates of Oak Ridge and is accepting new patients.
