About Nanny’s Edu-Care Center

Nanny’s is a state-of-the-art, award-winning childcare facility for children ages 8 weeks to pre-K with up-to-date-immunizations. We have been serving the community since 1987 and have received three stars (the highest level) in the Star-Quality Child Care Program from the State of Tennessee Department of Human Services.

As a Star-Quality Child Care program, we provide:

In addition to classroom and age-appropriate development and play activities, Nanny’s is pleased to offer enrichment opportunities for our enrolled children. These programs are offered on-site at our center, and are led by independent providers who are licensed and experienced in working with pre-school children. Parents who are interested in having their child participate in these activities may request additional information at Nanny’s about each program and its associated fees.

Enrichment Programs

Ballet and Creative Dance

Ages: 3-5

This program offers ballet lessons and creative movement through song and dance. Movements encourage large motor skills, stretching and introduction to rhythm, and help children develop strength, balance and coordination.

The program is offered by Dance Center West – Farragut, and is led by Tracy Sellars Kunarsi.

FunTime Bus Gymnastics

Ages: 18 mo. to 6 years

The FunTime Bus comes to Nanny’s so children can experience the fun of gymnastics. This large bus has been refitted with cushioned and carpeted flooring, and instructors use equipment designed especially for preschoolers to experience balance beam, fun-shaped mats, mini-trampoline and trampoline, parachute and more. The program is designed to build strength, coordination, motor skills and self-confidence.

Funtime Bus Gymnastics is offered by program directors Eric Geren and Karen Geren.

Pre-School Soccer

Ages: 2-5

This childcare soccer program provides age-appropriate, easy-to-understand lessons where children learn soccer fundamentals like dribbling, shooting, and team play through fun games and skills. The program is offered in four-week sessions, and a ball is provided for each child.

This activity is coordinated by Carroll Sports Academies Daycare Soccer program.

Hours and Tours

Childcare Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Tours of the facility are available Monday – Friday from 9 – 11 a.m. and Noon – 3 p.m., or by appointment (call to schedule).
