10-Digit Dialing Now in Effect for 423 Area Code

Effective Aug. 5, 2025, callers must dial 10 digits (area code + telephone number) for all calls in the 423 area code as a result of a mandate from the Tennessee Public Utility Commission. After Aug. 5, failure to dial the full digit number will result in an error message.
