New Covenant Health Urgent Care Opens on Cumberland Avenue

We’re thrilled to share that Covenant Health Urgent Care has opened a new location on Cumberland Avenue, across the street from the University of Tennessee. This new center offers convenient, affordable care for our Knoxville community.

Covenant Health Urgent Care – Cumberland Avenue

The clinic officially opened on January 15, 2026, and is now seeing patients.  

Expanding Access to Care 

As our Covenant Health network grows, we’re focused on bringing convenient care close to home. Whether it’s in your neighborhood, near your workplace or on your college campus, our urgent care centers are here to support you and your loved ones. Because Covenant Health is the largest healthcare provider in East Tennessee, visiting our urgent care clinics also connects you to our primary care, specialty services and hospital care. 

The new Cumberland Avenue location plays an important role in supporting a busy, vibrant part of Knoxville. Students, faculty, downtown residents and workers now have a convenient place to turn for same-day care.

With the opening of Cumberland Avenue, we now offer eight urgent care locations across East Tennessee: 

  • Cumberland Avenue: 1915 Cumberland Avenue, Knoxville 
  • Farragut: 105 Biddle Farms Boulevard, Knoxville 
  • Maryville North: 117 Gill Street, Alcoa 
  • Maryville South: 108 Keller Lane, Maryville 
  • North Knoxville: 6606 Clinton Highway, Knoxville 
  • Northshore: 902 Osprey Point Lane, Knoxville 
  • Sevierville: 1787 Veterans Boulevard, Suite 101, Sevierville 
  • South Knoxville: 7625 Chapman Highway, Suite 107, Knoxville 

Hours and Services 

All our urgent care centers are open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., offering walk-in access to a wide range of services: 

  • Onsite x-rays 
  • Lab testing 
  • Care for minor illnesses and injuries 
  • Treatment for bites and stings 
  • Vaccinations and immunizations 
  • Occupational health services 

Our clinics accept most major insurance plans and offer affordable self-pay options. If you have questions about coverage, call your local clinic for more details.
