About the Program

Living with a chronic condition can often be an overwhelming task. But learning to minimize effects and risk factors while maximizing healthy routines can work together for positive outcomes. In Methodist Medical Center’s next MED Talk, Dr. Chad Manuel will discuss “Promoting Healthy Aging” and how the proper management of chronic conditions can help enhance the overall quality of life for seniors.

The presentation will be Wednesday, March 12, from noon to 1 p.m. at Oak Ridge Senior Center, 1405 Oak Ridge Turnpike. Seating is limited. Call 865-425-3999 to reserve your spot!

The speaker for MED Talk’s “Promoting Healthy Aging” program is Chad Manuel, DO. Dr. Manuel is a member of the inaugural class of medical residents with the Methodist Family Medicine Residency program. He earned his medical degree from the Lincoln Memorial University – DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, and practices at Methodist Family Medicine Clinic as part of his residency. The clinic is located at Suite 150, Westmall Medical Park, 200 New York Ave., in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Methodist Family Clinic accepts patients of all ages and provides comprehensive primary care to diagnose and prevent common family illnesses. The staff treats chronic conditions, diabetes, heart care, hypertension and mental health concerns.
