A Grade in Patient Safety Leapfrog Achieved by Hospitals

All nine of Covenant Health‘s acute-care hospitals earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group for the Spring 2026.

What are The Leapfrog Group Safety Ratings?

The Leapfrog Group collects and reports data related to safety, quality and hospital performance. They assign safety grades based on over 30 measures of errors, accidents, injuries and infections, as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them.

“An ‘A’ Grade is a strong sign that a hospital is deeply committed to protecting patients from harm,” said Leah Binder, president and chief executive officer of The Leapfrog Group. “We commend the leadership, Board, clinicians, staff and volunteers for the role each played in earning this distinction.”
