Ian Baeske, an anesthesia tech in Surgery, was awarded Fort Sanders Regional’s FLAME Award. Before transitioning to his role as a tech, he worked as a transporter taking patients to different departments in the hospital as needed. His nominator stated that she had been having a terrible day and cried after feeling overwhelmed about being in the hospital. She said that during their time together, Ian’s sweet personality lifted her up and made her feel good about herself. Congratulations, Ian!
