About Me
“Dr. Woodward earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Memphis and his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University. He completed his residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis in 2002 followed by a vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. In 2005, Dr. Woodward completed an additional fellowship in interventional neuroradiology at Vanderbilt University, becoming the first neuro-interventional radiologist practicing in Knoxville. He is currently Chairman of Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center’s Acute Stroke Team and Medical Director of the Neurovascular Research Center of East Tennessee.”
