Dr. Ploetze was drawn to hand surgery because of the dramatic impact it has on a patient’s quality of life. She finds it gratifying to enable a patient to return to work using their hands or to continue their hobbies and interests. Dr. Ploetze specializes in treating fractures of the arm, elbow, wrist, and hand. She also treats tendon and nerve injuries. Dr. Ploetze takes pride in treating common hand complaints, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, and thumb arthritis.
