Ruth Fisher

Senior Vice President of Cardiovascular Services, Covenant Health

Ruth Fisher serves as Senior Vice President of Cardiovascular Services for Covenant Health. In this role, she leads the strategic direction and operational performance of the health system’s cardiovascular service line, advancing clinical excellence and innovation across the region.

Fisher brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience to Covenant Health. Prior to joining the organization, she served as Vice President of Heart & Vascular Services at Cone Health in Greensboro, North Carolina. Her career also includes executive roles at Henry Ford Health System, Ascension Michigan, and Beaumont Health, where she was recognized for driving quality improvement, fostering physician collaboration, and building strong community partnerships.

A champion of professional development and community engagement, Fisher has served on national committees for the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Intervention and on the board of the American Heart Association Heart Walk.

She holds a Master of Business Administration and is passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centered cardiovascular care.
