2025 Covenant Health LeConte Volunteer Scholarship Recipients

May 2025 — Covenant Health LeConte continues to support professional development through its Volunteer Scholarship Fund. This fund is designed to support employees, their dependents and volunteers pursuing higher education. This initiative reflects the hospital’s ongoing commitment to fostering growth, learning and excellence within the Sevier County community.
2025 Volunteer Scholarship Recipients
This year, the volunteer services department awarded $5,000 to LeConte employees, their dependents and volunteers.
Lori Lane, Institute of Functional Medicine
Lane was presented with $2,000 to complete a course that will allow her to incorporate functional medicine into her clinical practice. She is one of LeConte’s occupational therapists, certified in vertigo and concussion therapy.
Pari Ray, Walters State Community College
Ray was awarded $1,500 to continue her studies to become a registered dental hygienist. She is one of LeConte’s junior volunteers.
Grace Stewart, Olivet Nazarene University
Stewart was awarded $1,500 to continue her studies in business administration and management. Stewart is the daughter of Ellie Modugno, one of LeConte’s registered nurses in the surgery department.
