Depending on your insurance, you may now be able to self-refer for physical, occupational, and speech therapy sessions.
You may have up to six therapy sessions over 15 days.
What if I need more than six sessions?
After six sessions, you will need physician orders to continue therapy.
What if I need more sessions during the year?
If you have been treated through self-referral for the same condition within the last 90 days, you will need a physician order for more sessions. If it has been greater than 90 days or you have a different condition, you can self-refer again.
