Roane Medical Center Leader Receives National Recognition

Harriman, Tenn. – May 2023 – Roane Medical Center’s president and chief administrative officer Jason Pilant has been recognized on the 2023 Becker’s Hospital Review’s list of “107 Community Hospital CEOs to Know.” Pilant has been in his role since 2017.

Becker’s Hospital Review, a publication focusing on hospital business news for healthcare executives, notes that leaders named to this national list ensure patients in their communities have access to affordable community care, including areas such as acute care, primary care, rehabilitation and other public health services.

Roane Medical Center, a member of Covenant Health, offers a range of services, including stroke care, critical care, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and sleep disorder treatment. Pilant oversees hospital operations and business planning, as well as serving on the Covenant Health senior leadership team. His focus on creating a “patient first” culture has led to improvements in patient safety and the establishment of best safety practices. He also works with local community groups and leaders to promote the healthcare services and other health resources available at the hospital.
