About Me
Following his medical education, Dr. Dr. Gilbert completed his internal medicine residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Kentucky, where he was chief gastroenterology fellow for the 2007-08 academic year. Dr. Gilbert’s advanced procedural skills include endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), spyglass cholangioscopy, capsule endoscopy and enteroscopy. His clinical interests include gallbladder and bile duct disorders, cirrhosis and liver disorders, and colon cancer prevention.
