About Me

Dr. David Hauge has practiced Neurosurgery in Knoxville, TN since completing his residency in neurosurgery at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA in July 1990. He completed medical school at West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, West Virginia after receiving a Master of Science from the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology at Saint Louis University of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Hauge currently lives in Knoxville with his wife, Sue Ellen. He has two children, Sarah Elizabeth and James Andrew. Dr. Hauge has a special interest in Gamma Knife Radiosurgery and is the Medical Director at Fort Sanders Regional Gamma Knife Center at Thompson Cancer Survival Center Knoxville, TN. He is also a member of the Leskell Gamma Knife Society. Dr. Hauge is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, The AANS/CNS Joint Section on Tumors, the American Society of Stereoactic and Functional Neurosurgery, and he is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
