Congratulations to Janel Bell, occupational therapist at Parkwest’s Therapy Center located at Fort Sanders West, for passing her vestibular therapy certification exam at Emory University.
Vestibular rehabilitation is an exercise-based approach aimed at eliminating or minimizing balance deficits and dizziness associated with vestibular disorders. This type of rehab is provided by a specially trained physical or occupational therapist.
Bell joins two of her co-workers at Parkwest Therapy Center who are already certified in vestibular therapy; Suzanne Moskal, clinical specialist physical therapist, and Whitney Sharpe, clinical specialist physical therapist.
For more information about vestibular rehabilitation or other services available at Parkwest Therapy Center visit covenanthealth.com/covenant-therapy-west-knoxville or call (865) 531.5710.
