Morristown-Hamblen West Holds Ribbon Cutting Event

New outpatient facility expands emergency care, imaging and primary care in Morristown area

Morristown, Tenn. – June 2023 – Morristown-Hamblen West, a new outpatient healthcare facility, held a ribbon cutting event Friday, June 2 with over 300 guests including physicians and community leaders. Tours of the facility, which will begin seeing patients June 5, were also available to the public after the ribbon cutting ceremony.

The facility, which is an extension of Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System, includes a free-standing emergency department, diagnostic imaging center, breast imaging center, two new primary care providers and physician offices.

“As the Morristown area continues to grow, we are proud to open another location to provide high-quality care,” said Gordon Lintz, president and chief administrative officer of Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. “The new facility offers a variety of services to bring more accessible care to the Lakeway region. Whether you need emergency care or a routine checkup, Morristown-Hamblen West will be able to serve our local community.”

The 67,000-square-foot building is located at 653 Merchants Greene Blvd. near Exit 4 off Interstate 81. As the community continues to grow, the new facility expands access to care to Morristown and surrounding area residents.
