When it comes to star power, Hollywood has nothing on Methodist Medical Center. If the steady flashing of cameras and the faces of eager friends and family hoping to get a glimpse of new arrivals in the Family Birthing Center don’t make babies born at Methodist feel like stars, then having their name inscribed on a star and affixed to Methodist’s “A Star is Born” Baby Wall of Fame will secure any new baby’s fame.
“A Star is Born” is a program of the Methodist Medical Center Foundation which provides parents, grandparents, relatives and friends with the opportunity to permanently recognize anyone born at Methodist by purchasing a star for the Wall of Fame. The wall is located in the main corridor leading to the Family Birthing Center and has been erected as a permanent display to celebrate the babies born at the hospital.
For a minimum contribution of $100, a star inscribed with a child’s name and date of birth will be added to the baby wall of fame. Donors will also receive a special certificate commemorating the gift.
Proceeds from the program continue the Foundation’s mission to advance the highest quality of health care services at Methodist Medical Center and will benefit the programs and services of the Family Birthing Center.
The “A Star is Born” program is a meaningful way to mark a special occasion. It offers a unique and permanent way to show someone how special they are to you. It’s a gesture that will be preserved for generations to come.
To learn more about how you can celebrate a new life through “A Star is Born,” please call the Methodist Medical Center Foundation at (865) 835-5261 or visit the Methodist Medical Center Foundation.
