- About Us
Liz Enix, who works in our cardiovascular ICU, has received the Fort Sanders Regional FLAME award for her excellent patient care. Liz, who recently graduated as an RN, was nominated by a former patient for her care and compassion toward the patient’s husband who couldn’t be with his wife for part of her time in our care. The patient said that Liz, in her role as a student nurse at the time, was her husband’s eyes and ears when he couldn’t be in the hospital. They even celebrated together when the patient was able to come off of the ventilator. Thanks for being a wonderful example of the Covenant Health Pledge of Excellence, Liz!
The FLAME Award was created by FSRMC’s Patient Family Partnership Council in 2018 to recognize our non-nurse employees who have gone above and beyond to improve the hospital experience for our patients and their family members. To nominate an extraordinary staff member, click here.
