FLAME Award Winner – Jessica Collins

Our staff often show extra compassion for their patients beyond the medical care they provide. Jessica Collins, a health unit coordinator in the pre-admission testing department, is one of our extraordinary staff members who went the extra mile for her patient.

One of Jessica’s coworkers nominated her for the FLAME Award because she witnessed Jessica’s interactions with a patient in the cafeteria. Jessica went out of her way to help this patient by buying her a meal before she left the hospital. Jessica’s coworker was so impressed with her actions to go above any expectations set in place, and says that she is honored to call Jessica her coworker.
