Daniel Ryan, MD Joins Knoxville Neurology Specialists

Welcome Daniel Ryan, MD

We are proud to welcome Dr. Daniel Ryan to Knoxville Neurology Specialists! Dr. Ryan is a board-certified neurologist who specializes in epilepsy care. He brings 7 years of medical experience to our neurology team.

Dr. Ryan is fellowship-trained in clinical neurophysiology EEG from the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. He also completed his neurology residency at the Mayo Clinic after he earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL.

Dr. Ryan will primarily conduct teleneurology services for patients in the hospital.

When Dr. Ryan isn’t practicing medicine, he enjoys traveling with his high-school sweetheart of 20 years and exploring new places and food. They often spend time in sunny Florida. On a typical evening, you can find them walking their two rescue pits on the beach and trying to keep them out of the bed at the end of the night!

I believe medicine is a collaborative effort between me and my patients, and an integral part of that collaboration is me equipping them with the knowledge of what their facing. This, in turn, results in a collaboration that is always more successful, especially when treating epilepsy.
