- About Us
Congratulations to our December 2020 DAISY winner Maleah Hipsher! Maleah consistently goes above and beyond for our patients as evidenced by her five previous DAISY award nominations. This time, Maleah was chosen as a winner for her care and compassion helping a patient through a difficult birth. The patient and her husband were stressed not only from the birth of their first child but also by being COVID-19 positive through the entire experience. The patient said that Maleah was “definitely a light in a dark time.” She went out of her way to provide frequent updates on the baby and to truly listen to the patient’s concerns. The patient said, “Maleah is a nurse that LISTENS to her patients and will go above and beyond. She did things for us that no other nurse would offer to do, especially because of the pandemic. She put us first and did an amazing job as our nurse. I wouldn’t have wanted to go through that experience with anyone else.” Congrats again on your recognition, Maleah!
