Our “Journey to Excellence” program is a systemwide collaborative effort to help us share best practices and fully implement our organization’s goals related to all aspects of Covenant Health’s operation. The Journey to Excellence includes specific standards and behaviors for employees and departments throughout our health system.

We are currently involved in many projects focusing on excellence:

• Our hospitals and several clinical departments have established Patient and Family Partnership Councils to help us improve the patient care experience. These councils are made up of former patients and employees who work together on hospital-specific projects, as well as participating in open discussion about our services.
