About the Program
This MED Talk explores engaging mental stimulation activities to support brain health in seniors. Dr. Yen Quach will share how puzzles, reading, social interactions, creative hobbies, and lifelong learning can enhance memory, focus, and cognitive function. The discussion will offer practical tips and resources to encourage an active, healthy mind.
The presentation will be Friday, May 9, from noon to 1 p.m. at Oak Ridge Senior Center, 1405 Oak Ridge Turnpike.

About the Speaker
The speaker for MED Talk’s “Keeping Your Mind Sharp: Mental Stimulation Activities for Seniors” program is Yen Quach MD. Dr. Quach is a member of the inaugural class of medical residents with the Methodist Family Medicine Residency. She earned her medical degree from the Xavier University School of Medicine and, as a part of her residency, is in practice with the Methodist Family Medicine Clinic. The clinic is located at suite 150, Westmall Medical Park on 200 New York Avenue.
Methodist Family Clinic accepts patients of all ages and provides comprehensive primary care to diagnose and prevent common family illnesses. The staff treats chronic conditions, diabetes, heart care, hypertension and mental health concerns.
