Lisa Harper, RN, at Covenant Health LeConte was recently honored with The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. This award is part of the DAISY Foundation’s program to recognize and celebrate nurses for their extraordinary care, effort and clinical skills. The DAISY Award was established in 1999 by the family of a patient who had received extraordinary care and compassion from his nurses during his final days.

Congratulations to Lisa, who was nominated by a patient for the exceptional care and compassion she demonstrated during the patient’s hospital stay. “Lisa was very patient and kind. Not only did I appreciate her, but my wife and daughter did too,” her nominator said. “She did her job in a perfect, professional and compassionate manner. I cannot thank her enough for restoring my faith in medical caregivers.”
