- About Us
There couldn’t be a more fitting week to share Andrew Lyttle’s DAISY nomination story. Andrew, a former U.S. Marine, is a RN at Fort Sanders Regional who recently cared for patient Bill Wyatt, Sr. After learning of their shared military experiences, Andrew and he formed a special bond. Mr. Wyatt, a true war hero, had been awarded a Purple Heart in World War II. Although Mr. Wyatt unfortunately passed away, Andrew visited him and, as a final sign of respect, honored him with a salute.
This gesture meant a great deal to the patient’s family, especially Bill Wyatt, Jr., the patient’s son. Mr. Wyatt joined us to recognize Andrew for this incredible showing of kindness and patriotism.
Thank you for your dedication and service, Andrew. We are proud to have you on our team.
