Covenant Therapy Centers to offer free clinics in Knox, Loudon and Sevier counties
While medical care will be provided during the 2014 Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon, there are many times when the pain doesn’t register until after the adrenaline subsides. For those participants with bothersome aches, pains, blisters or other medical concerns after the race, Covenant Therapy Centers will be offering the free Post-Race Injury Clinics with physical therapists and/or athletic trainers.
Appointments are not required. Participants of the marathon, half-marathon, 5K and marathon relay events must simply bring a photo ID and their bib number to one of the following free clinics:
Monday, March 31
Lenoir City – Fort Loudoun Therapy Center
423 Medical Park Drive, Lenoir City, 37772
Tuesday, April 1
West Knoxville – Parkwest Therapy Center
At Fort Sanders West near Pellissippi Parkway & Kingston Pike intersection
200 Fort Sanders West Blvd., Building One, Suite 201

*Runners can also call 755-5742 to schedule evaluation with one of our Certified Athletic Trainers on the afternoons of March 31 and April 1 at one of our five area high school athletic training rooms.
In addition to providing the walk-in clinics, Covenant Therapy Center’s staff members will provide therapeutic stretching and immediate medical care at the Neyland Stadium finish line on race day.
