Ruth Crawley, senior nurse executive of Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, was recently named president-elect of the Tennessee Organization of Nurse Executives (TONE).
Elected by TONE members statewide, Crawley must serve three years, committing one year as president-elect, another as president and her last year as past president.
Crawley was chair of the Knox Area Council of TONE and a TONE board member for two years, dealing with issues of competency, legislative proposals, staffing shortages, nursing education, licensure changes, nurse executive skills, regulatory mandates and
many other nursing and healthcare concerns.
“I am very pleased and am looking forward to representing nurse executives statewide,” Crawley said.
