hysical therapist Mick Larrabee has recently joined the staff of Methodist Physical Therapy (MPT) in Oak Ridge. His duties with MPT have included providing the Oak Ridge High School football team with on-site medical coverage and rehabilitative services.

Along with providing sideline coverage at practices and games, Larrabee also screens hurt ORHS players for minor and serious injuries, and prescribes an appropriate plan of action for their recovery. Larrabee works with team physician and orthopedic surgeon, Cletus J. McMahon, M.D., of Orthopedic Surgeons of Oak Ridge.

Larrabee is an outpatient physical therapist on staff at Methodist Physical Therapy. His specialties are sports medicine and orthopedics. Larrabee is a certified strength and conditioning specialist, and is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association as well as the American Physical Therapy Association.

A native of Tucson, Arizona, Larrabee earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Arizona, and a master's degree in physical therapy from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Currently, he is working toward an emergency medical technician license.

Larrabee and his wife Holly Larrabee, P.T., live in Knoxville. Their interests include fitness, music, travel and human rights activism.
