hysicians are playing a large role in keeping women healthy, rather than merely treating disease. Rosalind Cadigan, M.D., an obstetrician/gynecologist on the staff of Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge, will discuss the emphasis on disease prevention at an upcoming Women's Center brown bag lunch.

"The Well Woman" will be held Tuesday, Aug. 17 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in the main lobby of Methodist Medical Center. Bring your lunch. Beverages will be provided.

Dr. Cadigan earned her medical degree and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and is a junior fellow of the American College of Obstetrics. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the Tennessee Medical Association.
