d Dobrzykowski has been named manager of the Fort Sanders Therapy Center at Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center and its satellite clinics in Gatlinburg and Seymour.
Dobrzykowski holds a bachelor's of science degree in physical therapy from Northwestern University, as well as a bachelor's of arts degree in health education and athletic training from Purdue University. He also received a master's of health science from the University of Indianapolis.
Dobrzykowski is both a licensed athletic trainer and physical therapist. He has 20 years of professional experience in the physical therapy field. His clinical experience has primarily been in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. Prior to coming to Fort Sanders Sevier, he served as Director of Development and Provider Relations at Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes. He was also employed at Baxter Healthcare Corporation and Caremark International where he served as Director of Quality and Regulatory Services and Regional Director of Operations respectively.
Dobrzykowski is a member and finance chair of the Tennessee Physical Therapy Association, editor of the Journal of Rehabilitation Outcomes Management, and consultant for Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes, Inc. He is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Unity Church of Knoxville where he also serves as treasurer.
He has made over 70 presentations nationally on topics pertaining to outcomes management in health care and authored 25 publications.
Dobrzykowski, originally from Lake Zurich, Ill., resides in Knoxville with his wife, Susan, and son, Tony.
