Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge and the Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Oak Ridge will focus on diabetes education during their monthly health event at Wal-Mart on South Illinois Avenue.
Representatives of the Methodist Diabetes Self-Management Program and Novo/Norodisk, a pharmaceutical company, will staff an information table in front of the Wal-Mart Pharmacy Friday, Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. They will distribute educational materials and answer questions, but will not offer glucose screenings.
