Liz-Beth & Company to Host Hospice Benefit

On October 24 - 26, 1997 Liz-Beth & Company Fine Art Gallery will host an international art show and sale to benefit the Hospice program of Covenant Health. The event will be preceded by a reception at the gallery on Thursday evening, October 23rd, from 5:30-9:00 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from the weekend's sales will be donated to Covenant Hospice by Liz-Beth & Co.

Covenant Hospice, founded in 1978 as the first hospice program in Tennessee, has a strong tradition of providing comfort and care for the dying and their families in our area. The Hospice staff creates a nurturing environment that seeks to preserve the potential for patients and their families to grow inwardly and together during this unique time in their lives.

The programs and services provided by Covenant Hospice are offered to all patients in need regardless of their ability to pay. As with many programs offered by Covenant Health, a not-for-profit health care organization, Covenant Hospice's standard of excellence is maintained through philanthropy. Individuals, families, foundations and corporations within our community give generously to meet the health care needs of the dying and their families.

The following artists will be present for this special benefit showing at Liz-Beth & Company:

The showing will also feature the works of Rosanne Mufich, Ed Greene, Albert Handell, Carol Montgomery and Ron Williams.

Two artists will make their work available to the public at Liz-Beth & Company for this weekend only. African masks and artifacts by Cameron Boyle of Atlanta, Georgia and sterling silver wearable art by Carol Anievas of New York City will be on sale during the benefit.
