A stroke occurs when a blood clot blocks an artery or a blood vessel breaks, interrupting blood flow to an area of the brain. When either of these things happen, brain cells begin to die and brain damage occurs. Anyone can have a stroke and your chances increase if you meet certain criteria: high cholesterol, diabetes, overweight, or have a family history. This month at both Covenant Health Mall Kiosk locations, we are offering special screenings to help you reduce your risk.

All Screenings from 9am-5pm
Cholesterol Screening measures lipids, glucose and triglycerides with a simple finger stick. Fasting for 12 hours is required. Results in less than 10 minutes!! An appointment is required for this screening. (Note: All regular medication should be taken for blood screenings.)
