Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon Photography Contest
Rules
The Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon’s first photo contest was held in April 2012. Photos entered into the contest had to be of a subject relating to the event and could include photos taken at the Covenant Kids Run, Health & Fitness Expo, marathon start and finish and along the 26.2 mile marathon course.
Other Contest Rules
Entries must be original photography completed by amateur photographers age 18 or older.
Photos should be submitted in RGB JPEG format ONLY and must be at least 250 KB not to exceed 5 MG. Photos should not be computer enhanced!
All photography received will be deemed NON-ORIGINAL with no monetary value.
Awards & Exhibition
Best of Show will receive a $100 Thompson Photo Products gift certificate, a framed copy of the winning photograph, official marathon finisher’s cap and the photo will appear on the cover of the 2013 Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon registration brochure.
1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will have their photographs printed in the 2012 Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon and will win official marathon swag and the following gift certificates from Thompson Photo Products:
1st place - $75
2nd place -$50
3rd place - $25
All entries will be archived by Covenant Health Graphic Services and may be used for future marathon publicity and promotional purposes.
Eligibility
Open to all amateur photographers 18 years and older. Submit only work completed at the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon 2012 events and races. The Jurors reserve the right to disqualify any work not suitably presented, or any work appearing not to correspond to the high res submission requirements.
RESTRICTIONS
NO Pornographic or offensive photos.
NO Photos containing nudity.
NO Photos with your own embedded copyright notice, watermark, or a timestamp.
NO Series of several identical photos. Choose the best one and submit it.
Covenant Health does NOT accept original artwork of any kind (no film, slides or original prints).
