Helping Seniors (adults over the age of 55) cope with the mental and emotional changes that occur as they get older.
Emory River Senior Behavioral Health provides an extensive range of mental health therapies that can help adults 55 and older regain - and retain - mental abilities and emotional stability that may have been impaired by the aging process.
Each senior receives individualized care designed to help meet each patient's specific needs with as little intrusion as possible. Depending on the condition being treated, care may be offered on an outpatient or inpatient basis. In either case, family members are encouraged to participate.
The Emory River program has helped many seniors overcome a variety of mental and emotional issues, such as depression, anxiety and grief, to improve their quality of life and ability to function in everyday situations.
