Nanny's Home

Curriculum

In childcare, curriculum is what children do all day. Our staff will set the stage for children's play and learning. There are several unique components that support Nanny's curriculum including our home-like atmosphere, opportunities for learning, enrichment opportunities, special events, and family interaction. At Nanny's your child will benefit from:
  • Daily information concerning your child's activities as well as "necessary" updates.
  • Parent-teacher conferences are offered and, as needed, private consultation is available.
  • Frequent, positive, warm interactions among adults and children.
  • Hands-on learning activities appropriate to children's age and development, such as block building, painting, reading stories, dress-up, and active, outdoor play.
  • Highly trained teachers.
  • Enough adults to respond to individual children.
  • Enrichment opportunities including gymnastics, ballet, karate, music, art, computer, and Spanish.
  • Well-designed, age-appropriate play areas.
  • Many varied age-appropriate materials.
  • A healthy and safe environment for children.
  • Nutritious meals and/or snacks.
  • Regular communication with parents who are welcome visitors at all times.
  • Effective administration.
  • Ongoing, systematic evaluation.
