Fort Sanders Health and Fitness Center is
announcing a new way to lose weight and
get fit. FSHFC Weight Management is
Covenant Health’s newest program to improve
quality of life through health and fitness.
It’s a serious investment with serious
dividends. Every person who joins the program
gets a membership at Fort Sanders Health and
Fitness Center, with full access to everything
from state of the art cardio equipment to indoor
and outdoor pools, tennis courts, and more than
a hundred fitness classes offered each week.
“We want to do more than just help people
drop pounds,” says program coordinator Jane
Holland. “We want to help them reshape their
bodies and their lives.”
The program includes individualized nutrition
counseling with a registered dietician, fitness
assessments with exercise physiologists, small
group personal training sessions, as well as
weekly wellness lectures and weigh-ins with
experts.
FSHFC Weight Management offers six-week
and six-month programs for both members and
non-members.
The fitness center will soon add a Youth
Weight Management Program to help kids make
healthy food choices while learning fun ways to
stay active.
