New vice president announced at Peninsula, a division of Parkwest
Liz Clary, RN
, a division of Parkwest
, has announced the promotion of Liz Clary, RN, to vice president of behavioral health. Clary will be directly responsible for leadership and day-to-day administration for all of Peninsula Behavioral Health and will provide consultative leadership for the Senior Behavioral Unit at Parkwest.
Clary has served Peninsula Hospital as director of patient care services since 2010. In 2013, she was honored with Covenant’s 2012 Buscetta Leadership Award, which recognizes excellence among healthcare leaders. Clary replaces current vice president Jeff Dice, who retires in August, 2013.
“Jeff has been a tremendous asset to Peninsula over the last several years as a visionary leader,” said Rick Lassiter, president and CAO of Parkwest. “Liz is a dedicated and compassionate leader who will step into the role with a zeal for patient care. We are blessed to have had the leadership of Jeff Dice and are equally blessed to have Liz step into this role with so much experience and ability."
Clary has been with Covenant Health
for more than 30 years, including 26 years at Methodist Medical Center
of Oak Ridge. Her professional background includes operations, strategic planning, program development, fiscal management, physician relations and supervision, all with a strong value system and focus on high quality patient care and staff development and support.
