Art To Remember - Panel Dedication Event

World AIDS Day, Monday, December 1st, 2014
The Southern Depot – Knoxville, TN
Doors will open at 5:00 PM

On display will be eight 12’ x 12’ Blocks from the AIDS Memorial Quilt that were “brought home” to honor the lives of those lost to HIV. Found within these Blocks are the individual panels of 12 Hope Members that tell stories of the person whose life was cut short, what their contributions are, and how they wanted to be remembered.

Families and volunteers are making Quilt panels for loved ones. For others lost or abandoned, volunteers are creating panels because there is no one else to do it.

These and other new panels will be dedicated by the panel makers at The Southern Depot on December 1. Later, accompanied by the Blocks with Hope Members, they will begin their journey to Atlanta to become part of the entire AIDS Memorial Quilt.

Join us, family members, friends, & others in the community to share the common goal of remembering those we have lost.
