The Covenant Platinum Awards
Gala Luncheon and Awards Ceremony
Thursday, August 7, 2008
12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Knoxville Convention Center
Every two years, Covenant Health honors outstanding senior citizens with a celebration at the beautiful Knoxville Convention Center with top notch entertainment and an excellent meal. The 2008 gala promises to be our best ever. This year’s gala will feature a performance by the Four Lads, an award-winning quartet famous for such hits as "Moments to Remember," "Istanbul," and "No, Not Much." The gala will also feature a performance by the magnificent Tellico Tappers. However, the real stars of the event will be the many senior adults who have been nominated for this year’s Covenant Platinum Awards. Tickets are $25. Call (865) 541-4500 to reserve your seat today!
SORRY, NOMINATIONS ARE CLOSED
Active Seniors Who Live Life to the Fullest |
The Covenant Platinum Award honors seniors who represent positive aging … active seniors who live life to the fullest … outstanding seniors who put the plus in 65-plus, the gold in golden years, and the citizen in senior citizen.
We're looking for well-rounded seniors who participate in a variety of activities such as health and fitness, creativity and the arts, academic and intellectual pursuits, community involvement and volunteering.
The Platinum Award also honors a Senior Advocate - a person of any age whose work or volunteer efforts support positive aging in the community.
