We Can Help!
Vestibular rehabilitation at Covenant Therapy Centers is an exercise-based approach aimed at eliminating or minimizing imbalance and dizziness associated with peripheral vestibular pathology.
The therapeutic program may include:
- Balance activities
- Eye movement exercises
- Habituation exercises for vertigo
- Use of the Epley Maneuver
The exercise program is individually designed for each patient and carried out by specially trained physical therapists. The goal of treatment is to eliminate the symptoms and/or help a person compensate for a loss or imbalance within the vestibular system. A doctor's referral is necessary before treatment can be initiated.
