Covenant HomeCare is answering the need for increased home based mental health treatment. We provide a wide range of services for patients with psychiatric disorders. Our intaerdisciplinary team includes mental health registered nurses, social workers, home health aides, physical, occupational, and speech therapists. The goal of psychiatric home care is to help the patient attain the highest level of functioning.
Services provided but not limited to:
- Care for clients with disturbances of mood, thought processes, and altered behavior patterns
- Care for clients with concurrent medical and psychiatric disorders
- Mental, emotional, and psychosocial assessments, evaluations, and counseling
- Medication education and management
- Symptom education and management
- Crisis intervention
- Administration of injectable neuroleptics
- Health education such as stress management, relaxation techniques, coping skills, problem solving, and communication skills
